Source Information: Ancestry.com. 1910 United States Federal Census Dallas Morning News June 1916 Lair. Anna, Collin County, Texas, June 23. J.B. Lair of this place, while plowing yesterday afternoon, was stricken with heart failure and fell from his plow and was dead when his sons reached him. Mr. Lair was Clerk for the Baptist Church for thirty-two years and had been President of the School Board of this district for ten years. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church this afternoon. Burial was at Highland Cemetery.
