Married: William Joseph "Bill" Blin Obituary: Eva M Blin, 87, a resident of Silver Pines Care Center, died there Monday, Dec 18, 2000, following a short illness. Services: 11 am Wednesday, Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, by the Rev Karen Nelson of First United Methodist Church, Marion. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors includes a son, Jim and wife Judy Blin of Independence; a daughter, Judy Yates and husband Dick of Milan, IL; a sister, Helen Kelso of Cedar Rapids, a brother Elzo Powell of Marion; five grandchildren, Randy Blin of Independence, Shelly Krieger of Williamsville, NY, Sandi Burgard of Bozeman, MT, Tim Blin of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and Tami Diamond of Mesa, AZ; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Vera Fuessley and Eleanor Foushee; and four brothers, Harlan, Arthur, Wilbur and Leo Delmar Powell. Eva was born June 2, 1913, in Linn County. She married William J Blin on Feb 9, 1937 in Cedar Rapids. He died Dec 3, 1966. She was a homemaker and worked at the Fabric Shop at Lindale Plaza. She enjoyed sewing and her family, especially her grandchildren.
