Bio

Mrs James C (Eleanor Powell) Foushee of Rock Island died in a Moline hospital Wednesday, July 26, 1967. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Jim Powell of Troy Mills and was born March 11, 1923. She was married March 2, 1946 in Iowa City. Surviving are her husband; a son, Seaman Apprentice James Foushee, Jr; 3 sisters, Mrs Vera Fuessley of Troy Mills, Mrs Eva Blin of Marion, and Mrs Ronald Kelso of Cedar Rapids; 4 brothers, Harlan Powell of Central City, Arthur Powell of Kingfisher, OK, William Powell of Rowley and Elzo Powell of Coggon. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Rock Island and graveside services at 1:15 at Troy Mills. ( Coggon Monitor, August 3, 1967)
