R. J. Lichnovsky Dies At Temple R.J. Lichnovsky, age 44, former West merchant, died at his home in Temple Thursday at 1:45 p.m. following an illness of five days. Mr. Lichnovsky had been in ill health for the past three years, but had been able to be up and attend to his duties as distribution agent for a soft-drink concern at Temple until five days prior to his death. Funeral services were held at Temple Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, burial in Hill Crest cemetery. Pallbearers were his brother-in-laws, James Shepard of Dallas, Bill Schwenkie of Dallas, Louis Kramr, Eustis Barton and Anton Jerzek, all of West, and Raymond Slovak of Temple. Deceased was well known in this section, having formerly conducted a grocery business here and at Abbott. The family moved to Temple three years ago. A large number of West citizens attended funeral services at Temple Saturday. Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Misses Regina and Martha, of Temple; a son, George, of San Antonio; two brothers, Frank of West, and Jeff of Waco; a sister, Mrs. Anton Soukup of West, and his father, Valentine Lichnovsky, of West.
