Requiem Mass Held Thurs. For Frank Lichnovsky Frank W. Lichnovsky, retired West grocer, died at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, in a Hillsboro hospital. He was 77. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Lichnovsky came to the United States from Czechoslovakia at the age of 7. He had lived in the West area 60 years. He began operating Lichnovsky Grocery in January, 1929. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, Knights of Columbus Council 2305 and KJT Lodge No. 31 of West. His wife died in 1953. Surviving are one son, Harry Lichnovsky of West, four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jim Soukup, Vinc Kapczynski, Will Mynarcik, Raymond Hutyra, Robert Navratil, George Lichnovsky, Emil Soukup and Raymond Kapczynski.
