After two months in hospitals and skilled nursing at Oak Bend Hospital he entered Needville SPJST#2 Nursing Home April 8, 2010. All his friends, especially Hall C heard his echoes of "I love you, God Bless, thank you for the good meal" with their echoes back to him. Of course his closest friend was Jesus Christ his Savior. Jesus was always on his mind. There never was a dull moment with Otto around. Everything got quiet when he retired for his naps but when he returned, the echoing started again. He never complained about his food, it was always good and he ate most of it all the time. He spoke highly of Dr. Art Klawitter and Joe Hochman. When Otto was sitting in the dining room, and if Sharon, Carolyn, Adolph or Margaret was coming up the sidewalk, he was waving to let them know he saw them. He had a hard time recognizing anyone visiting less often, but would recognize them if they stayed awhile. He surely will be missed by workers and residents at the SPJST#2 Nursing Home, Needville, Texas. Words of condolence may be left for the Susan family at www.davisgreenlawnfh.com.
