Hardin Alexander Stratton was the oldest of 7 children of Lee Stratton and his second wife, Minnie McElyea. Hardin also had two step-sisters by Lee's first marriage to Frances Byrd. Hardin Alexander Stratton married Mary Ila Bushy on 9 Aug 1923 in Merit, TX. They had one son.
