Bio

Minnie Aster Corine McElyea was the daughter of William Franklin McElyea (1843-1924) and Catherine Margee Sides (1845-1891). Minnie McElyea was the second wife of Lee D. Stratton. She married Lee Stratton on 13 Oct 1901 in Celeste, TX, and they had seven children: Hardin Alexander (1902-1974), Mollie Velma (1905-1970), Carl Leon (1908-1922), Monty Franklin Pierce (1912-1982), Freddie Roland (1915-1995), Leslie David (1918-1983), and Susie Lucille (1921-1994).
