Bio
Johnnie Paul Prihoda, 77, passed away on November 19th, 2010 at Memorial Herman Hospital, in Houston, Texas. He was born in Guy, Texas on July 15, 1933, and lived most of his life in Rosenberg, Texas. Johnnie joined The United States Army and served his country in Germany during WWII. He was a hard worker, enjoyed gardening, and traveling through Texas with his wife to visit family and friends. Johnnie is preceded in death by his loving wife of 27 years, Nettie Bell Prihoda. His parents, Anna Janus Prihoda, and Paul Prihoda, his brother, Jody Prihoda and sisters Annie Sue Peyton and Josie Ondrey. He is survived by his sisters, Georgie Blinka, Mary Folkens, and his four stepchildren, Tommy Scruggs, Sherry Coody, Donny Scruggs and Ester McNally. He has 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friend's that will miss him very much. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
