Herald Coaster, March 9, 1993: Funeral services for Jodie John Prihoda, 62, of Richmond, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Rev. Richard Avery will officiate the services. Mr. Prihoda was born June 8, 1930 in Needville. He died March 7 at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston. He was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Needville. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Prihoda, and by his sister, Annie Padon. Survivors include his wife, Nora Meyen Prihoda of Richmond; his mother, Anna Prihoda of Wharton; a daughter, Belinda Prihoda of Rosenberg; three sisters, Georgie Blinka and her husband, Johnny, of Rosenberg, Josie Ondrey of Pleak, and Mary Falkins and her husband, Eric, of Needville; a brother and his wife, Johnnie and Nettie Bell Prihoda, of Rosenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Funeral Home in Needville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Needville.
