Herald Coaster, November 15, 1999: Funeral services for Josie Prihoda Ondrey, 65, of Rosenberg, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Boulevard, FM 2218 and Highway 59, in Rosenberg. Deacon Don Ries will officiate the services. Josie was born Sept. 15, 1934 in Guy to Paul Peter Prihoda and Annie Janus Prihoda, and she passed away Nov. 12, 1999 in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo Ondrey; a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Ondrey; her parents, Paul and Annie Prihoda; her sister, Sue Padon; and her brother, Jodie Prihoda. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Butler and her husband, Terry, of Rosenberg, and Dorothy Anderson and her husband, Ronald, of Nashville, Ark.; a son, Joe Ondrey of Houston; sisters, Mary Folkens and her husband, Eric, of Needville, and Georgie Blinka and her husband, Johnnie, of Rosenberg; a brother, Johnnie Prihoda and his wife, Nettie Bell, of Rosenberg; grandchildren, Joey and Christina Ondrey, and Kimberly, Melissa and Rheanna Anderson; and a great-grandchild, Caleb Hayes. Pallbearers are Russell Ondrey, Robert Ondrey, Richard Rohan, Michael Rohan, Robert Rohan, and George Volarik. Visitation was held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, (281) 341-8800 Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
