Herald Coaster, June 2, 1997: Funeral services for Anna Prihoda, 91, of Rosenberg, will be held Tues., June 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with interment following at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Father James Ramsey will officiate the services. Deacon Davis Mitchill will conduct a rosary service on Mon., June 2, at 7 p.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Mrs. Prihoda was born Sept. 6, 1905 in Czechoslovakia to John Janus and Janie Orsak Janus. She passed away May 30, 1997 in Richmond. She was a member of St. Michael's Church and SPJST. Mrs. Prihoda is preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Prihoda; parents, John and Janie Janus; daughter, Annie Padon; and son, Jodie Prihoda. She is survived by daughters, Georgie Blinka and her husband, Johnny, of Rosenberg, Josie Ondrey of Pleak, Mary Folkens and her husband, Erich, of Needville; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. Visitation will begin Mon., June 2, at 5 p.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. (FM 2218 and Highway 59), Rosenberg. 281-341-8800. Funeral arrangement are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
