Fort Bend Herald, December 8, 2015: Georgie (Prihoda) Blinka, 84, currently of Temple, passed away at her home on December 6, 2015. She was born on November 26, 1931 in Richmond, Texas to Paul and Anna (Janus) Prihoda. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. This loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend will truly be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Jody Prihoda, Johnny Prihoda, Sue Padon, and Josie Ondrey. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Johnnie Blinka; daughters, Judy Barnett and husband, John, and Debbie Coufal and husband, Glenn; sister, Mary Yurek; grandchildren, Chad Rohan and wife, Robyn, Shelly Vining and husband, Greg, Brittney Barnett, and Justin Coufal and wife, Stephnie; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Taylor, Alyssa, Roland, Carson, and Sawyer; along with additional family and friends. The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
