WILLIAM HIRAM PEACE William Hiram Peace was born to Blackburn Peace and Modenia Wheeler November 25, 1859 in Texas. He died May 31, 1934 in Shelby County, Texas. William married Lovie Elizabeth Ritnour around 1881 in Shelby County, Texas. To this union the following children were born: Ella Mae, Lou, James Matterson, Nettie May, Christopher Adam, Dewey Blackburn, Goopin W., and Vergie Peace. The 1900 Shelby County, Texas Census states that Lizzie was the mother of 7 children and 6 were living at that time. One child died and is not listed.
