MODENIA WHEELER PEACE Modenia Wheeler was born to William Wheeler and Nancy Watson, July 29, 1831 in Tennessee, and died February 18, 1905. Modenia married Blackburn Peace, ca 1952. Blackburn came to Shelby County, Texas around 1851/52. The 1900 Census of Shelby County, Texas shows that they had nine children and that seven were living at that time. I believe that two of their children died young. Some of their children are: Mary Ann, who married Anderson Wheeler. James William, who married Georgia Ann Winn. John Cleveland, who married Angeline "Angie" Taylor. His second marriage was to Rosella McCray (McCree). B.K. who died young, William Hiram, who married Lovie Elizabeth Ritnour.Nancy E. who married William A. Murray, Lula A. who married Robert L.
