Bio

OAKDALE — Funeral services for Frederick Bertram 71, were at 2 pm today, June 6, in Elizabeth Baptist Church. Brother Lloyd Bragg, Brother Wayne Cook and Brother Andy Buckley officiated. Burial was in Hampton Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home. Mr. Bertram died at 12:30 am Tuesday in a Lufkin, Texas hospital. Survivors include his wife; Quida B. Bertram of Lufkin, Texas, two daughters; Doris Goldman of Oakdale, LA and Wanda Hurst of Elizabeth, La; one son; Bud Bertram of Lubbock,Texas; one sister; Mrs. Mary Knippa of Gonzales, Texas, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
