Services will be at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Bill Shaddox and Rev. Joel Arnold will be officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. O'Neil was born Nov. 10, 1918 to Robert Ransom Orr and Alpha Gladys Puryear. She married Deward O'Neil on Aug. 4, 1944 in Hunt County. She was the supervisor for Greenville Pant Manufacturing Company where she retired. She was a member of the Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church. Mrs. O'Neil is survived by her brother, James N. Orr of Dallas; sisters-in-law, Martha Orr of Greenville, Thelma Robinson of Farmersville; nieces, Debby Cunningham of Commerce, Sharon Crump and husband George of Farmersville, Paula Ashlock of Littleton, Colo.; nephews, Ronald E. Orr and wife Danna of Benbrook, Jerry Bob Orr and wife Kay of North Charleston, South Carolina; great-nieces, Emily Ann Orr of Benbrook, Lisa Kemp of Goose Creek, S.C., Jennifer Jones of Chapin, S.C., Jessica Ashlock of Littleton, Colo.; great-nephews, Shane Tarpley of Commerce, Brett Tarpley of Commerce, Todd Crump of Ft. Worth; great-great-nephew, Kansas Tarpley; also a special friend Sandra Cerda of Greenville who was also her caregiver. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and one sister. Pallbearers will be Ron Orr, Shane Tarpley, Brett Tarpley and George Crump. The family would like to give a special thank you to Briarcliff Health Center and staff and Vitas Hospice for the special care that was given to Mrs. O'Neil in her final days.
