Survivors are his wife; a son, Jerry Bob Orr of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Debbie Tarpley of Greenville; two brothers, Charles Orr of Greenville and James Orr of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl O’Neal and Mrs. Avon Barker, both of Greenville; and four grandchildren. Mr. Orr died in a tractor accident Sunday afternoon at his home. He was born in Hunt County, Jan. 27, 1922 to R.R. Orr, Sr. and Gladys Puryear Orr. He married Lois Lowe on July 7, 1942. He was an Army veteran of World War Two and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife; a son, Jerry Bob Orr of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Mr. Debbie Tarpley of Greenville; two brothers, Charles Orr of Greenville and James Orr, of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl O’Neal and Mrs. Avon Barker, both of Greenville; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Orr, Steve Ragland, Mike Swanson, David Swanson, Ray Deaton and Bobby Deaton.
