Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 30 Nov 1946, Sat Page 8 Frank Kavan, Sr., Accident Victim, Is Buried at Prague Morse Bluff - Funeral services for Frank E. Kavan, Sr. 71, who died at the Prague hospital following an automobile accident, were held at the National hall at Prague Saturday afternoon. Rev. Phillip of Clarkson officiated and interment was in the National cemetery. Mr. Kavan was born Feb. 11, 1875, on a farm near Morse Bluff. On Nov. 2, 1903, he was married to Anna Placek of Prague and the couple mde their home on a farm. He farmed for 31 years and then he resided near his son on the same farm for 19 years. Mr. and Mrs. Kavan observed their 43rd wedding anniversary Nov. 2. Survivors are his widow, Anna; a son, Frank of Morse Bluff, five daughters, Mrs. Ignac E. Odvody of Weston, Mrs. George Simanek of Malmo, Mrs. William Simanek of Morse Bluff, and Agnes and Evelyn at home; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Edward of Wahoo, John, Joe, and Albin of Morse Bluff; and four sisters, Mrs. John Hoffman and Mrs. Rudolph Kowma of Linwood, Mrs. Alois Prochaska, and Mrs. Charles Kubik of Prague.
