Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 10 Nov 1973, Sat Page 2 Prague - Services for Sylvia Odvoday , 68, of David City, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Kucera Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Proett will officiate. Mrs. Odvody died Friday at a David City hospital following a brief illness. She was born May 24, 1905 at Morse Bluff. The former Sylvia Kavan, she married Ignac Odvody June 1, 1926, at Wahoo and they farmed in the Malmo area until moving to David City nine months ago. Survivors include her widower; daughter, Mrs. John (Sylvia) Krumel, Malmo; two grandchildren; brother, Frank Kavan, Prague; and sisters, Mrs. Art (Agnes) Sickmier, Mountain View, Mo.; Mrs. George (Emma) Simanek, Wahoo; Mrs. William (Anne) Simanek, Schuyler; and Mrs. R.W. (Evelyn) Figge, Essingham, Kan. Burial will be at National Cemetery.
