Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) 08 Dec 1966, Thu Page 7 Mrs. A. Kavan Rites Are Set Prague - Services for Mrs. Anna Kavan, 83, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Nationl Hall. Burial will be the Natinal cemetery. Rev. Donald Preoett, Wahoo, will officiate. Anna Placek was born her Feb. 8, 1883. She was married Nov. 2, 1903, to Frank E. Kavan, who died Nov. 27, 1946. Following his death she moved from the farm they operated into town. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Ignac (Sylvia) Odvody; Mrs. George (Emma) Simanek, both Malmo; Mrs. Art (Agnes) Sickmier, Mountain View, Missouri; Mrs. William (Anna) Simanek, Schuyler, Mrs. R. W. (Evelyn) Frigge, Effingham, Kansas; Son, Frank, Morse Bluff; Brother, Mike Placek, Wahoo; Sister, Mrs. Joe (Mary) Volse, Clarkson; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
