Bio

Services for Mary L. Colby, 78, of Plano will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Paul Cunningham of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. She died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002. She was born March 13, 1924, in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1941. She married Richard C. Colby on March 12, 1949, in Kerrville. He died Aug. 28, 1986. She was a homemaker and member of Central Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Colby in 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Ricki Feagan of Lubbock and Barbara Laffitte of Murphy; a sister, Dorothy Loescher of Lubbock; two brothers, Walter Bumpass and Joe Bob Bumpass, both of Lubbock; and four grandchildren.
