Bio

Mildred M. Kusek, 93, of Chicago died Saturday, June 26, 2010. Mildred was born Dec. 7, 1917, on a farm near Ord to Andrew M. and Clara F. (Czuba) Kusek. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10:30a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord with Father Tom Ryan officiating. Internment will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be held be Monday, July 5, 2010 at 7:00p.m. at the Ord Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to masses. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Survivors are sisters and a brother-in-law, S. Lenore Kusek, C.R., and S. Clara F. Kusek, C.R., both of Chicago and Helen Donald Glatter of Amherst; brothers and sister-in-law, Floyd and Betty Kusek of Portland, Ore.; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kusek and Ardath Kusek, both of Burwell and Genevieve Kusek of Seward and a host of friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by the her parents; brothers, Henry Kusek, Adrian Kusek, Bernard Kusek and Andrew B. Kusek and sisters, S. Bonaventure Kusek, C.R., and Marie Suminski.
