Bio

Barbara V. Kojetin was born on 13 April 1900, in Minnesota, to Wencel J. and Mary A. Horejsi Kojetin. Barbara married Alois E. Kodet, the son of Joseph F. and Theresa Swoboda Kodet, on 29 October 1918, in Bechyn, Minnesota. Barbara and Alois had nine children, Emil, Johanna, Lydia, Edward, Martha, Barbara, Adella, Mary Lou, and Alois, Jr. Barbara and Alois farmed near Bechyn until they moved to Olivia on 12 January 1962. Barbara V. Kojetin Kodet died on 1 July 1981 in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. She was buried in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Bechyn, Renville County, Minnesota.
