(12/31/2019) LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Thu., Feb. 27, 1986. ‘... 1951 E. Booth, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 1986. Services Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. James Barnes. Born in Lamar County, son of William Brecheen and Sarah Wilkerson Brecheen. He attended Paris schools and moved to Dallas in 1944. On 10 Dec 1950, he married Jimmie Spurlock in Dallas. He was a construction worker for road contractors. He was a member of the Howland Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; 6 daughters, Louise Brazeal of Paris, Lucille Ford of Los Angeles, CA., Iva Ann Whitten of Dallas, Sally Jo Hendricks of DeSoto, TX., Bernie Marie Rowland of Oklahoma City, and Carolyn Bennett of Atlanta, GA; 2 sons, Frank Brecheen of Dallas and Duane Brecheen of Los Angeles; 23 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Annie Brazeal of Paris. Was preceded in death by a son, Harold Brecheen on April 2, 1975.’ Buried next to Sara Virginia Coffee Seiferman. Information from Pedigree Chart of Duane E.
