Graveside services for Nedom AD. Alford, 55, were officiated by Rev. J.H. Baldridge, pastor of the Methodist Church. Nedom Alford died of an accidental car wreck. His car overturned when he missed the curve. The car ended up in the creek bed of Dry Creek. Nedom Alford was never married. He was a blacksmith. Nedom Alford came from a pioneer section and was raised in Young County. Surviving by three sisters; two brothers. Nickname is from Alford family records. The death certificate shows died in Graham. Obituary and funeral home records show he was dead at the scene. Inquest records show he died at the Dry Creek bridge, 1-1/2 miles east of Graham. He had dark hair, weighed about 185 pounds, and was 5 feet, 8 inches tall. The inquest was held at the location of the accident. /s/ J.T. Rickman Justice of the Peace
