Bio

Martha first married a Mr. Abston probably in Tennessee or Kentucky about 1887 as her first daughter, Hallie Abston was born 22 Sept 1888. Her next child was Ella Abston born 11 Jan 1892. She next married Robert H Owen in Marion Co, FL in Sept 1892. She had 2 sons with Robert Owen, Herman R and Alfred Hayden Owen (1899 - 1937) Her last marriage was to John Elliot Mabry 3 Jan 1901 in Ocala, Marion County Florida. They were the parents of two children, Thelma Ann Mabry born 1 Aug 1911 and Joseph E. Mabry born 16 Jul 1915. When Martha died, her husband, John, had her body sent to Texas to be buried with her parents in Elmwood.
