Bio
Emeline was the 3rd of 7 children of Washington Ledbetter Jr and Mary Knox Ferrell. She married Joel Green Huddleston in Overton County on 3 Aug 1866. She was the mother of 12 children, 10 who lived to adulthood. There is not a headstone for her in the Huddleston Plot at Elmwood and I was told that there is not a record of her being buried there. It is probable that in 1933, her children could not afford to put a marker on her grave. Faulty records can account for her not being listed in the cemetery. Bjv
