Bio
cemetery lot bought by his sister Lee Ann Odel Jim Ike was going to visit cousins, Joe Lee and wife Mary Huddleston Thrasher in Texhoma OK which is right on Texas/Oklahoma panhandle state line. He had taken a train to the nearest town and got a ride to the Huddleston homestead. Ike was riding on the running board on side of car because the car was full of kids. He fell from the running board and rolled into a ditch. It was possible that Ike had a heart attack and that was the reason he fell and died. This was told to my by a researcher in Texhoma, Ok.
