Bio

Lizzie was born in Fullerton to Henry Edward and Sina (Thompson) Nelson. The family moved to a farm northwest of Arcadia in 1900. She attended Dunham School District #20 and Arcadia High School. On May 5, 1914 she married Glen Hill at Arcadia. They farmed in St. Paul (1919), Dunning, and Ansley until 1924 when they moved to Comstock. In 1937 they moved to the Nelson home place and lived there until their retirement. She was comfirmed and baptized in the Lutheran Faith on May 2, 1907 at the Sweetwater Lutheran Church. She later attended the Congregational Church in Arcadia for many years.. She died at the age of 94 years. They had one child Willard.
