Betty Fajkus Marek, Find A Grave Contributor 48445083 Mrs. Jos. Plasek Dies at Hospital Mrs. Frances Plasek, age 59, wife of Joseph Plasek of this community, died in a Waco hospital at 12:05 p.m. Monday. She had been in ill health for some time, however, her condition was not thought to be serious until a short while before her death. Funeral services were held from the C.M.B. church at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Rev. M. J. Kostohryz and Rev. H. E. Beseda officiating. Interment was in the C.M.B. cemetery. Mrs. Plasek was born in Czechoslovakia, coming with her parents to the United States when only one year old. She had been a resident of this community for many years and leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Fannie Malach of White Field, Wis., Miss Annie Plasek of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Miss Antonia Plasek of Ennis; three sons, Emmett and Emil Plasek of West and Willie Plasek of Waxahachie; a sister, Mrs. Vinc Bohac of Ranger; four brothers, F.W., Charles and Vinc Marek of Granger, and Robert Marek of Kaufman.
