Bio

Joseph R. Plasek Dies After Month’s Illness Jospeh Robert Plasek, age 31, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Plasek, near here on Thursday, January 19th. Deceased had been in business here for some time, but had been confined to his home for several weeks with illness. Funeral services were held at the C.M.B. Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, Rev. F. J. Kostohryz and Rev. H. E. Beseda in charge. Interment was at Bold Springs Cemetery. (Note - interment in West Brethren Cemetery) Surviving are his parents, Mrs. And Mrs. Joe Plasek; three sisters, Misses Fannie, Annie and Tonie Plasek; three brothers, Emmitt, Emil and Willie Plasek. Deceased was a native of Texas and had lived in this city for a number of years. His was the second death in the family within a few weeks, another brother, Ladis, having died a short time ago.
