Bio

Ladis Plasek Dies Wednesday Night Ladis Plasek, 21-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Plasek of near West, passed away at the family home at 11 p.m. Wednesday, October 26th. Deceased was born in Texas on January 6, 1911 and had lived in this section most of his life. Funeral services will be held this morning, Friday, October 28th, at the C.M.B. Church at 10:30 o’clock, Rev. F. J. Kostohryz in charge, assisted by Rev. H. E. Beseda. Interment will be at Bold Springs Cemetery. (Note - burial was in West Brethren, not Bold Springs) Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Plasek; three sisters, Misses Fannie, Annie and Tonie Plasek; four brothers, Joe, Emmitt, Emil and Willie, all of West. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 43, No. 22, Ed. 1 – Friday, October 28, 1932.
