Children of Nick Patocka and their families '''''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press , April 26, 1951, p. 6, col. 6 IGNAC PATOCKA WAS VICTIM OF HEART DISEASE Loma, Apr. 14 – Funeral services for Ignac Patocka were held in St. Luke's Catholic church Apr. 9, with the Rev. Lieblinger officiating. The church choir sang and the following served as pallbearers: Joe Capoun, Ed Kudlacek, Emil Kocian, Alois Navratil, Charles Vlach and Adolph Waiss. Mr. Patocka died Friday, Apr. 6, shortly after suffering an attack of heart disease. He would have been 78 years of age on April 12. He was a native of Czechoslovakia, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Patocka. He was married to Frances Rejda June 28, 1896 in Holy Trinity church, Brainard. Mrs. Patocka died August 16, 1937. His survivors include five sons, Frank of Valparaiso, Joseph of Ceresco, Rudolph of Gretna, Nick P. and John of Dwight; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Kriz of Malcolm; and one brother, Frank Patocka, of David City. Mr. Patocka engaged in farming in the Loma vicinity many years.
