Born in Popovice 17, Brno, Moravia, Austria-Hungary. Ancestry.com states they came aboard the S. S. Mosel, arrived in New York June 11, 1877. One sources states they sailed from Bremen Germany and Southhampton England. All their children were born in Moravia except Frank.
