Born in the village of Pribam, town of Rosice, county of Brno, Moravia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic). Married Joseph Patocka. In her will (dated December 31, 1925, proved February 9, 1929) she named her children: Joseph Patocka (son), Tony Matulka (daughter), Tillie Edwards (daughter), Nick Patocka (son), Josie Policky (daughter), and Frank Patocka (son) (Butler County probate file #1606). ''''''''''''''' The Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), January 3, 1929, p. 5, col. 3 Grandma Patocka, who had for years made her home with her son, Nick, residing near Loma, died last Thursday. She was well advanced in years and had been quite feeble for some time. Funeral at St. Lukes Catholic church, Loma, Saturday.
