Ludvik Kucera 1893-1971 Funerla services for Ludvik A. Kucera, 77, of Bagley, who died at the Bagley Hospital June 6, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bagley, Friday at 10 a.m. The Rev. F. B. Doherty will officiate with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary service will be held at the Cease Chapel, Bagley, Thursday (today) at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Kucera was born at Bruno, Nebraska, September 12, 1893 and his marriage to Frances Pekarek took place at Brainerd, Nebraska, April 16, 1917. They lived in Osnobrok, North Dakota until 1925 when they moved to a farm in Holst Township, north of Bagley, where they farmed. Mrs. Kucera died in 1961 and Mr. Kucera lived in St. Paul for 2 1/2 years, moving back to Bagley where he had resided since. He is survived by three sons, Leonard of Crookston, Raymond of Brainerd, Minnesota and Francis, St. Paul; a daughter, Mrs. Darrell Stenlund (Alice) St. Paul; 18 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, John of Bruno, Nebraska ;two sisters, Mrs. Frank Reck (Anna) of Brainerd, Nebraska, and a sister Rita (deNd) of Omaha. He was also predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
