Frances Kucera 1896-1961 Funeral services for Mrs. L. A. Kucera of Holst Township were held Monday March 27, at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Bagley. Father Doherty was in charge if the last rites and the Cease Funeral Home of Clearbrook made arrangements for the service and the burial which will be made in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Bagley. Mrs. Kucera died at Clearwater County Memoria Hospital Friday, March 24, following a sixteen day illness. Frances Marie Kucera was born September 29, 1896, at Brainard, Nebraska, of parents Ignac and Katherine Pekarek. She was married to Ludvig Kucera on April 16, 1917, at Brainard, Nebraska, and in that same year moved to Osnabrock, North Dakota. In 1925 they moved to Holst Township, Clearwater County and have llived there since. Survivors include her husband, Ludvig, three sons and a daughter. They are: Leonard of Crookston; Raymond of Brainerd, Minnesota; Francis of St. Paul, and Mrs. Darrell Stenlund (Alice) of St. Paul. Also two brothers, Joe Pekarek of Clearbrook and John Pekarek of Marshfield, Missouri; and two sissters, Mrs. Joe Kosisek of Bruno, Nebraska, and Mrs. Edward Jurgens of Marshfield, Mssouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
