Fred F. Cocek Of Bishop Dies; Rites Wednesday Fred . Cocek, 54, of Bishop, a former resident of West, died at his home in Bishop Monday morning. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Assumption in West, Rev. James Quilter officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Cocek was born and reared in West. He had lived in Bishop for the past 20 years where he was employed with Celanese Corp. He was married to the former Georgia Nemecek of West. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Bishop and a veteran of World War II. Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dalton Tynes of Bellmead; two sons, Freddie Cocek and Anthony Cocek, both of Bishop; three brothers, Frank Cocek and Bill Cocek, both of West, and Albin Cocek of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Bledsoe of Austin; four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Edward R. Archer, Clifford Archer, C.W. Talley, Jr., Joe Polasek, Jr., James Kolacek, and Donald Zatopek.
