Arnold Cocek Dies Of Tetanus Attack Arnold Cocek, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cocek, Sr., of this city, passed away in a Waco hospital on Tuesday of this week following an attack of tetanus which resulted from a cut the youngster received on a leg. The cut was suffered some days ago but was not thought to be serious until lockjaw developed without warning. Funeral service will be held here at the home at 9:30 a.m. and at the Catholic church at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery. Arnold was born here and was one of the most popular youngsters in the city. He was a student in the local high school and leaves a host of friends, both young and old, who will mourn his untimely passing. He is survived by his parent; three brothers, Joe Jr., and Alphons of California, and Pvt. Willie Cocek, Camp Edwards, Mass.; five sisters, Misses Leona and Hattie Cocek of West, Mrs. G. L.
