Emil Tobola Dies at 86 Emil Tobola, 86, of West died Friday afternoon in West Community Hospital. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, West, with Rev. William Benish as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited Saturday night at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Tobola was born in Fayette County and had lived most of his life in the West area. He was a retired farmer and merchant and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include two brothers, Will Tobola and Jim Tobola, both of West, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Eddie Tobola of Penelope; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Tobola, Joe Tobola, Ernest Tobola, Sr., John Tobola, Adolph Tobola and Frank Rejcek. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 85, No. 22, Edition 1, Thursday, May 29, 1975, page 6.
