Ludvik Sykora Services Held Ludvik Sykora, 79, of West died Monday morning at a West hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. George Doskocil officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery at West. Mr. Sykora was born in West and had lived in the West area most of his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the KJT Society No. 31. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was a veteran of World War I. His wife, Ann, died on March 20th, 1949. Survivors include one son, Ludvik Sykora, Jr., of Amarillo; one daughter, Mrs. Emil (Judy) Jakubik of Waco; two brothers, Louis Sykora of West and Andrew Sykora of Waco; one sister, Mrs. John (Mary) Maca of Kingsville; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
