Bio

Judith Jakubik Morin, 75, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Albert Laforet as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary will be recited by Father David Leibham at 6 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, followed by visitation. Judith was born in West, Texas, to the late Ludvick and Anne Marie Sykora. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emil Jakubik in 1975; second husband, Robert Morin in 1989; sister, Augusta Bezdek; and a grandson, Noah Copeland. Survivors include son, Clinton Jakubik and his wife, Patricia; daughters, Diane Counterman and her husband, Paul, Elaine Copeland and her husband, Kenneth, all of Waco, and Sherry Stephens and her husband, J.P., of Robinson; brother, Louis Sykora and his wife, Gail, of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
