S.A. Sulak, Aged Resident, Dies Sylvester A. Sulak, 71, died at his home near West at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 25. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in West at 9 a.m. Saturday, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Sulak was born in Fayette County, Texas, moving to West 50 years ago. he had been a resident of this section since that time, engaging in farming. He is survived by his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Joe Prikryl of Taylor, Mrs. Ray King of West, Mrs. August Grellhesl of West, and Mrs. Leo Schroeder of Texarkana; three sons, John, Sylvester, Jr., and Wesley Sulak, all of West; three sisters, Mrs. Matt Cepak, Mrs. Joe Bezdek, and Mrs. John Bednar, all of West; five brothers, Frank, Bill and Rudolph of West, L.J. of La Grange, Adolph Sulak of Dallas; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
