C. W. Smajstrla Died Wednesday The "Grim Reaper" claimed another old resident of West Wednesday morning when C. W. Smajstrla died suddenly at his home just a short while after complaining of a pain in his side. Mr. Smajstrla was born in Czechoslovakia 63 years ago and came to West when he was 20 years of age and has resided here since. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Chas. Jr., Joe, John, and Jim Smajstrla, and by three daughters, Mrs. Joe Holy, Mrs. Kubacak, and Wilma Smajstrla. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning by Rev. Pelnar from the residence at 8:30, the Catholic Church at 9:30, and the interment at the Catholic Cemetery.
