Mrs. Otillie Roznovsky, age 91 of West, passed away Thursday evening, February 21, 2002 in West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited 1:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 1:45, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Roznovsky was born November 18, 1910 in West and had lived in Penelope for a number of years before moving back to West in 1974. Mrs. Roznovsky, the former Otillie Pustejovsky, married John J. Roznovsky, November 20, 1933 at West. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Roznovsky who died in March, 2001. Mrs. Roznovsky was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, the Catholic Daughters of America Court #829 and the K.J.Z.T. Society #11 of West. She is survived by three sons, Daniel Roznovsky and wife Mary Ann of Irving, John P. Roznovsky and wife Angeline of Carrollton and Edmund Roznovsky and wife Clara Mae of Wichita, Kansas; four daughters, Mrs. Leon (Angeline) Stiborek, Mrs. Kenneth (Rose) Stafford, both of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Kenneth (Annette) Cepak of Arlington and Patricia Hammond of Dallas; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Robert (Hilda) Roznovsky of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Joe (Mary) Sinkule, Mrs. Eugene (Sophie) Kubala and Mrs. Johnny (Agnes) Sinkule all of Abbott; twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren. Active Pallbearers were Patrick Roznovsky, Jerry Roznovsky, Donald Prince, Gregory Stiborek, Bryan Cepak and Michael Stafford. Honorary Pallbearers were members of Catholic Daughters of America Court #829 of West. Kotch Funeral Home of West was in charge of arrangements.
