Bio

Rose Mary Stafford (November 17, 1942 - April 13, 2022) With faith and love, we remember and honor the life of Rose Mary Roznovsky Stafford, who entered into eternity with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 79 in Arlington, Texas. The matriarch of our lives, she loved us all with incredible strength and perseverance. Funeral: Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 5819 Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington, Texas 76016. A reception will follow the funeral. Only immediate family at the grave site. Arrangements are by Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 West Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013. Rose Mary Roznovsky was born on Tuesday, November 17, 1942, in Penelope, Texas to Otillie Lucia Pustejovsky Roznovsky and John Jim Roznovsky, one of 8 children. She lived on a rural farm throughout her childhood, until she graduated from high school and moved to Grand Prairie where she met and married Kenneth Stafford. Rose was a successful career woman who climbed the corporate ladder at LTV Aerospace and retired on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 after 30+ years of service from its successor company Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. Rose worked in Finance - Asset Accounting, and then in Government Owned Property Control. Rose was a long-time member of the Vought Retiree Club. Rose and Kenneth celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last year. A devout Catholic, Rose served her church in many volunteer roles throughout her life. She enjoyed faithfully attending Mass, family gatherings, cooking, gardening, fishing, puzzles, and the list goes on. Rose will best be remembered for the uncanny way that she made us all feel special and loved. She truly loved like Christ loves. All were welcome in her home and immediately made to feel like family. Her life was a constant example of unconditional love & forgiveness. The greatest example of this selfless love was the love she showed her husband, our father, Kenneth for 57 years of marriage. Their steadfast love will last for eternity! Rose is survived by her husband Kenneth Stafford; children -- Renee and Courtney Hughes, Darla Bruce, and Michael Stafford and stepson, Kenneth Chamberlin; grandchildren - Clay, Lauren, Kristen, Loren, Britney, and Abigail; great-grandchildren -- Addison, Emma, and Jackson, who loved their MeMaw with all their hearts; siblings; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends who meant the world to her, and that we all hold dear. We thank each and every one of you who have expressed your love and support at this difficult time. We love you all. Thank you for celebrating her life with us…forever in our hearts. - based on the obituary posted on the website of the Wade Family Funeral Home and on information from the family, Vynita Hutson, and Bob Bardo.
