John J. Roznovsky, age 84 of West, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 6, 1993 at his residence. Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, West. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mr. Roznovsky was born January 26, 1909 in Bomarton, Texas and moved to Penelope at the age of four with his parents. He had lived in the Penelope area before moving to West 19 years ago. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2305 of West, the K.J.T. Society #31 and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West. He married Otillie Pustejovsky November 20, 1933 at West. Mr. Roznovsky is survived by his wife Otillie of West; four sons, Daniel Roznovsky of Irving, John P. Roznovsky of Carrollton, Robert Roznovsky of Dallas and Edmond Roznovsky of Ennis; four daughters, Mrs. Leon (Angeline) Stiborek and Mrs. Kenneth (Rosemary) Stafford, both of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Kenneth (Annette) Cepak of Arlington and Patricia Hammond of Dallas; one brother, Joe Roznovsky of Waco; two sisters, Stella Roznovsky and Ann Steffersen, both of Fort Worth; 27 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Jerry Roznovsky, Donald Prince, Gregory Stiborek, Patrick Roznovsky, Bryan Cepak and Michael Stafford. Kotch Funeral Home in West is in charge of arrangements.
