Mrs. Adela Petter Dies Suddenly Mrs. Adela Petter, 53-year old wife of John E. Petter, died suddenly last Saturday while being taken to a hospital in Waco for treatment. Mrs. Petter, a life-time resident of this area, was ill for only a short time before her death. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church Altar Society and St. Ludmila's Society. Funeral services were conducted at the Church of the Assumption Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock by the Rev. E.J. Polcak. Rosary services were held at Aderhold's Chapel Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, John E. Petter; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Holub of Dallas, Mrs. Rosalie Mynarcik of West; two brothers, Joe R. Marek and John Marek of West; two sisters, Mrs. Albina Parma and Mrs. Joe Mynar of West; and three grandsons. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 63, No. 43, Edition 1, Friday, March 6, 1953, page 1.
