WEST - Mrs. John (Vioila) Parma, 61, of West, died Tuesday morning at her residence. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Monsignor Ray Widacki as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Parma was born on September 26, 1926, near West and was a long-time West resident. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, KJZT Society No. 11, Catholic Daughter's Court No. 829 and SPJST Lodge No. 6 in Cottonwood. She worked for Wolf Manufacturing Co. in West for 10 years prior to illness. She married John Parma on November 19, 1946 in West. Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Luvik (Mary) Gerik of West; two sons, Michael J. Parma of Hewitt and Gary M. Parma of West; a daughter, Georgie Parma of West; two brothers, Alfons A. Gerik of Ross and Lawrence L. Gerik of Springfield, Va.; four sister, Mrs. Raymond (Mary) Marek and Mrs. Johnnie (Christine) Soukup, both of West, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Dudik of Hubbard and Mrs. Jack (Leona) Whiteley of McGregor; and a grandson.
